Events to look forward to: MORE THAN A MUM EVENT The Merchant Adventurers Hall, York Friday 18th April 2008 10am until 4pm ***************************************************************** 26th April in Leeds. Police Crime Prevention Day: CLARE of Unique Expressions will be face painting, and WONDERPHIL will be walkabout balloonologist, 10.00-4.00. If you are a YORK Childminder, there's a jolly event in Rowntrees park on 8th May at which two of our BRILLIANT face painters will be plying their art. 5th July at Ashville College, Harrogate. The Summer Fair 12.30-3.30 will have two of our fab face painters, painting like mad to raise school funds. 20th July, two more face painters will be face painting at SLEDMERE HOUSE, 'a real stately home', Driffield East Yorkshire - it's also the NSPCC Bike Ride starting out from there. Whilst all that's going on, there will be THOUSANDS of children at almost innumerable birthday parties being entertained (and painted) by our lovely entertainers. Also Beattie Bunnikins, or sometimes she's Beattie Bunny or sometimes she's Batty Betty (hope she doesn't forget which one she's meant to be. . .) Recently each of them painted ladies who were off to fancy dress parties as beautiful tigers! If you've never seen it done, it's hypnotic and it's in inter-active event. Jack will set up and challenge the world as a stroll-by event at corporate events, banquets, clubs and has a cabaret act, too. His close up magic and table hop skills are amazing. BRILLIANT clowns, we love the work of THE RAPIDE BROTHERS. They are young, lively and their costumes are bright and clean and new. (They teach circus skills, too, all year round). Also MR DAN, the circus man. Remember how clowns used to scare you when you were little, the musty smell they always seemed to have? These chaps are a million miles from that. They're smart and colourful and...well, BURSTING with youthful energy. They really 'bring down the house' with their antics. They work any event or party. Entertainment for all ages.
